Family-owned and operated, NXT Cabinets was founded to meet the growing demand for high-quality cabinetry in the Central Texas building community. As a sister company of Next Custom Homes, we launched in 2020 to bring that same level of craftsmanship and integrity to cabinetry that we’ve long upheld in homebuilding. Combining over 40 years of experience, every member of our team brings hands-on carpentry expertise to the table. Our story began with Next Custom Homes, where master builder Mike Drew and his family built a reputation for quality and innovation. Today, NXT Cabinets carries that same tradition forward, offering custom cabinetry that is flawless, functional, and enduring, perfect for modern homes and large-scale projects alike.

Co-Founder

With skills passed down from his father, Mike has been dedicated to building with integrity and craftsmanship since childhood. With more than 40 years of experience, he now shares his knowledge with his sons, continuing the Drew family legacy. When he’s not on-site, Mike enjoys dirt biking and shooting with his boys.

Vanessa Myers

Co-Founder

With a background in music and over a decade in the building industry, Vanessa brings creativity and a deep knowledge of real estate and construction to every project. She’s passionate about creating exceptional living spaces that are more than homes, they’re legacies. Outside of work, you’ll find her exploring Austin or enjoying live concerts.

Shop Manager

As NXT Cabinets’ Shop Manager, Tim leads the day-to-day operations with an eye for detail and dedication to excellence. His carpentry experience and leadership ensure each cabinet produced meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
